The one remaining cygnet was spotted out for a walk in the sunshine this morning. Needless to say, mum and dad were very close by to keep an eye on things. Click on the photo for a larger view, then click "Back" to return to this page.One resident remarked they saw some water fowl attacking one of the other cygnets while they were alive. So the usual suspects, the lake's eels may NOT have been responsible for the loss of so many young cygnets.
