It was decided to move to the next step in forming a Neighbourhood Watch group. To that end Tony Mohr is to canvass the community to form a steering committee, which is the next step. This will require 15-20 volunteers to meet with Sergeant Di Kirkman form the District Crime Prevention Unit who will explain what is required from us. Trees hanging over path on Bellvista Boulevard
We were please to see the SCRC had pruned the trees overhanging the footpath on Bellvista Boulevard. This is thanks to the efforts of two of our members, Terry Walsh and Les Thomas who kept up the pressure on council to do so. We are still waiting for an answer from council on the appropriateness of the trees planted there. We will publish that news when it comes to hand.
